Mrs. Woodhull
Hello Page: My name is Mrs. Woodhull and I live in Michigan. I have worked in the area of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for about five years. I decided to work with children who have autism after substitute teaching in center-based autistic classrooms. I was intrigued by how the children used visual modes to help them communicate and understand the world around them. It was fascinating to observe how they perceived the world. As a substitute teacher, I have worked in both special and general education classrooms at various grade levels. In spring 2013, I received my special education endorsement in autism (K-12). My goal as an educator is to help my students learn, progress, and succeed academically, emotionally, and socially. For me, this is one of the most rewarding fields of education in which to work. In addition, you will always have an interesting and exciting day when working in this field.
