In the past, there were few resources for parents/guardians and professionals about autism. Presently, the internet has provided individuals who work with this population a multitude of resources. These websites give information about Asperger's Syndrome, things that parents should know before their child enters kindergarten, and the "first signs" of ASD. In addition, these resources give evidence-based practices/interventions to use with individuals who have ASD. One very useful website listed below is the "Special Needs Project" because it has an online bookstore containing books about anything pertaining to "special needs." These resources would be beneficial to anyone working with an individual who has ASD. They are important to the area of ASD; they give pertinent information about individuals who have ASD.
